Hand sculpted chocolate horses, White and dark chocolate seaside decor and a bucket and spade load of brighton beach magic. I created this carousel cake for the Brighton Festival in 2010 and thought it about time to share again.
The battery powered turntable enabled the horses to move round and it was displayed with music playing too for the full funfair effect!
Time to think up my next chocolate show piece...any ideas???
The pavilion hat cake was made for and inspired by the one and only Jane Bom Bane of Bom-Banes restaurant, Brighton.
We collaborated for the Brighton festival 2013 to create a dessert serving festival themed hat.
The head piece was sculpted from white chocolate, airbrushed with cocoa butter and freshly loaded every evening with She Bakes delicious cupcakes for the diners to enjoy once they had experienced the rest of the festivities and surprises that are always on offer when you go to tea at Jane's!!
The song featured was performed by Jane during the cake hour every evening and was especially written and composed for me and my pavilion hat!
We provide a scene made of cake i.e a garden, landscape, castle etc and then provide different coloured fondant icing so the guests can get busy creating during the party, adding their own characters, vehicles, captions etc
This cake was designed for a corporation celebrating their tenth anniversary. It was a elderflower and gooseberry sponge cake with vibrant fondant icing and exotic silk flowers to decorate. The cake was a party stopper and was a fantastic centrepiece for their photographs.
All because the lady loves…..SHOES!
Designed for a fortieth birthday, each shoe box is filled with chocolate and amaretto cake . The entire tower of cake is then adorned with a pair of pure Belgian chocolate Jimmy Choo shoes nestled on handmade white chocolate paper.
These shoes can be purchased separately and in several different designs with your favourite designers touch.
